Police at the Station and They Don’t Look Friendly by Adrian McKinty

I absolutely love the Sean Duffy series by Adrian McKinty and was delighted to find the 6th book in the series as an e-book from my local library. Sean Duffy is a police detective based in Carrickfergus in Northern and is a rare breed in that he is a Catholic officer in a predominately Protestant force. He is rebellious and irreverent and funny. I think he would translate very well to a TV series (any chance BBC NI?)

In this novel is is investigating the murder of a local drug dealer and has somewhat mellowed now he has a partner an a young child. He still gets into many dangerous scrapes but again an excellent story which I loved.
